On 2020-09-17, President Rouhani opened 231-bed hospital of Talesh via video conference.
Mr. Alizadeh, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development, and the Governor of Gilan were also present at this event.
The project of constructing Shahid Nourani 231-bed Hospital of Talesh, which was temporarily delivered in March 2020,was started in 2011 due to the aim to transform the health system in the country and to decentralize medical facilities from provincial centers and transfer to deprived cities and areas.
This hospital is a 3-storey building and has different departments for surgery and treatment.
